We are a charity. We received our IPC status (Institution of Public Character) in November 2003. All donations made to us for local charitable purposes enjoy double tax relief.
Our Objectives
We look after the medical and healthcare needs of the poor and under-privileged, particularly those requiring urgent medical treatment. We work with like-minded government agencies, charitable organisations, corporations, and NGOs on community projects catered to the poor and under-privileged.
Our geographical scope is not restricted to Singapore. We work throughout Asia.
We extend assistance based on our core competence - doing medical and healthcare related services and programmes, as well as conduct healthcare-related training and education.
Our Mission
- To provide financial assistance to impoverished patients in need of medical or health care.
- To promote or organize programmes for the furtherance of continued medical and health education and training for doctors and other healthcare providers.
- To fund research and development to improve diagnostics, therapeutic and prophylactic procedures and the understanding of the aetiology and pathogenesis of diseases.
